I’m not one to be a fan of very many things, but I am pleased to learn that the Rude Pundit will be performing The Rude Pundit in The Year of Living Rudely at the New York International Fringe Festival, which runs from Friday, August 12th through Sunday, August 28th. From the FringeNYC blurb:
Based on the cult blog with thousands of fans worldwide, the Rude Pundit attacks assholes and pisses on the powerful. In this (very rude) one-man comedy, he gives a scatological skewering and a pornographic wedgie to preachers, politicians, and presidents.
My Tuesday evening plans, from Richi:
Ahoy, hoy. I finally got off my donkey and put a band together. The Minderchucks will be playing at Headhunters on Tuesday, June 21st at 10:30 pm . We will be followed by my punk heroes, the Pink Swords. The Swords begin a West Coast tour the next day so this will be the last time to check them out for a while.
Please come by and see us play. It will be fun, or at the very least, LOUD!

The Burning Flipside home page has a cool photo of the rocket burn. More photos of the construction and burn are shared here. There was also a photo booth that got a few shots of my campmates. There’s a lot of love in that booth.
No, not that kind. Here are my plans for rocket-like barstools for Flipside. I’m going to build the 3-legged version, since the ground will be uneven, though I think the 4-legged looks nicer. I’m sure they’ll be painted all fancy too.
