The Almighty 40

Fridge Full of Forties
By Kent Wang

Browsing through the most interesting 40oz photos on flickr, I discovered many beautiful celebrations of the 40.

First, who doesn’t get thirsty viewing the Fridge Full of Forties? Or sympathetic observing a lonely 40 on a Manhattan window sill on a New Year’s Eve? Or relaxed gazing upon a 40 lazily enjoying the fresh green grass of spring?

Next, let us not forget the great unifying power of the 40, enjoyed by boys and girls, young and old, dogs and cats, pimps and ho’s, and yes, even gnomes.

With Mother’s Day approaching, what better way to remember Mom and 40s than with this photo from some 40-lover’s Knocked-Up on Rock ‘n Roll Labor Day party?

And finally, I’d like to leave you with thoughts of drifting away to paradise, on an endless sea of 40s.

The Evolving Look of This Blog

Due to some functional problems with the previous visual theme of the blog (and the fact that I couldn’t easily figure out how to change it since it was internally in German), I have changed to a new one. Eventually we’ll customize it to look more 40’s specific. Julian? ;-)

40s de Cinco de Mayo?

Mexican-themed 40s this weekend?

Does “Tequila Body Shots” have a sequel?

Oh yeah… I think this one would suck enough. “Losin’ It” with America’s favorite Scientologist.
